Do you need a Challenge that is both fun and motivational? Well, McInnes Fitness has that for you! Join us for our 90 days to a HEALTHY Summer Online Challenge. It starts on March 23rd and ends on June 21st (first day of Summer) but some of the habits will last a lifetime. You may be thinking, "A 90 day challenge!?! That seems too long!" But I promise you, these will be baby steps, suitable for all fitness levels. It is going to be a fitness journey where every week we will take on a new attainable lifestyle habit/challenge. Together we will lay down the foundation to improving your overall health, creating habits and an amazing support group.
We will explore and challenge what we put into our mouths to how we use that energy (physically and mentally). It's a great way to rejuvenate those New Year's Resolutions that may be long forgotten. It'll help you fight the winter blues and get you ready for your bathing suit.
You have the power to dive into this challenge at a level that is suitable for you. How will it work? Join the event page on Facebook. Every Friday, I will announce a new habit and share resources to educate you on that habit (the why and how). Every Monday, you will implement that habit into your daily routine. This gives you the weekend to get excited and ready for the challenge.
As a community we can really have fun with this challenge and bring each other to the next level. The other day, I heard someone mention the fact that we are social creatures and that's one of the reasons Weight Watchers is so successful. So please share your tips, stories, obstacles, questions, pictures and so forth. This challenge is for all of us, so own it!!
Extra credit: If you want the full experience, I recommend taking time to reflect on your progress and if you are giving this challenge your all. Before the challenge even begins, get a journal and write down why you have chosen to do this challenge. Record your weight and your overall state of mind. During the challenge; think about how you are succeeding with each challenge, where there is room for improvement and if you want the week's challenge to be a lifestyle habit. This will help bring intention to why being healthy is so important to you and provide an amazing resource to reference during times of struggle. No matter what level you participate in, you will benefit! My intention is to make sure you have fun and not think of this journey as too much work/stress. Therefore, if the extra credit portion is too much of a commitment right now, know that that's okay.
